In case you missed it last night, Melfort Mustangs goaltender Austin Rediron helped his squad to a 5-2 win over the Kindersley Klippers and not just by stopping the puck.

The Weyburn Red Wings (10-14-1-1) visit Kindersley to take on the Klippers (15-8-3-1). Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
The Kindersley Klippers improved their record to 5-1-0 in this early SJHL season with a 5-3 win over the La Ronge Ice Wolves. The Klippers entered play against the number-two ranked Ice Wolves who were coming off an 8-4 victory versus Weyburn on Thursday night and were the only remaining undefeated team in the league.
Two-game Tuesday in the SJHL as the Battlefords North Stars visited Melville and the Melfort Mustangs travelled south to Estevan.
After a busy Friday and Saturday in the SJ, Sunday night marked a relative break from the action with only the Humboldt Broncos and Notre Dame Hounds in action.
Once again, there were five games on the SJHL slate Saturday night, with Estevan and Melville being the only squads having the night off. The Notre Dame Hounds and Humboldt Broncos were the final two teams to open their season.
The second night of the 2013-14 season saw 10 teams in action around the SJHL with a few unexpected results.
