Canada West selection camp roster announced
Hockey Canada, in partnership with the CJHL, has released its Canada West selection camp roster for the upcoming 2013 World Junior A Challenge to be hosted Nov. 4 to 10 in Yarmouth, N.S.
A total of seven players from the SJHL have been named to the selection camp, which will be hosted Oct. 26 to 30 in Calgary, Alta. at the Markin MacPhail Centre.
Trent Cassan, head coach of the Yorkton Terriers, will serve as an assistant coach to head coach Jason McKee (Spruce Grove Saints, AJHL).

After a busy Friday and Saturday in the SJ, Sunday night marked a relative break from the action with only the Humboldt Broncos and Notre Dame Hounds in action.

Once again, there were five games on the SJHL slate Saturday night, with Estevan and Melville being the only squads having the night off. The Notre Dame Hounds and Humboldt Broncos were the final two teams to open their season.
