The Kindersley Klippers have released 1995-born forward Brett Hoppus. Klippers head coach/general manager Rockie Zinger made the announcement Wednesday afternoon.
Hoppus, a 6-foot-1 native of Red Deer, Alta., only dressed for two of the Klippers first eight games, registering no points and four PIM. It was his first season with the team.
The move likely comes in conjunction with the Klippers welcoming forward Tristan Sieben to town after his departure from the WHL’s Kamloops Blazers earlier this week. Sieben is expected to make his Klippers debut Friday night when the Battlefords North Stars visit Kindersley.
