The Flin Flon Bombers have traded 1993-born forward Jean-Kristoff Grenier for future considerations, according to head coach/general manager Mike Reagan.
Responding via email, Reagan did not elaborate on what team Grenier was moved to, only saying the forward had been “moved back to Quebec.”
Grenier suited up in four games for the Bombers this season, notching one assist. The 6-foot-5 forward had originally been acquired from the Swan Valley Stampeders of the MJHL Aug. 29, 2013.
Grenier tore up the LHJAAAQ last season, splitting time with the Vaudreuil-Dorion Mustangs and Lachine Maroons. In 48 games between the two squads, he racked up an astounding 28 goals and 66 points. Grenier also has major-junior experience under his belt, having spent 2010-11 with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL.
Reagan was busy over Thanksgiving weekend, as he also acquired defenceman Devin Henes from the Cowichan Capitals late Sunday night.
The Bombers visit Melville to take on the Millionaires Tuesday night.
