Former Klipper at home in Alberta

DragonsFormer Kindersley Klippers defenceman Troy Gedny is back at home in Alberta and ready to make an impact for the AJHL’s Drumheller Dragons.

Gedny was traded Oct. 2 from Kindersley to the AJHL’s Bonnyville Pontiacs in exchange for forward Marc Dubeau. From there, the Pontiacs turned around and immediately flipped Gedny to the Dragons.

In 41 games with the Klippers last season, the 1993-born Gedny tallied four goals and 11 points along with 77 PIMs.

Nathan Crosby, Dragons play-by-play announcer and afternoon news/sports anchor for 99.5 Drum FM, caught up with the former SJHL defenceman.
