The CJHL released its Top 20 weekly rankings for Tuesday, Sept. 24 and three undefeated SJHL teams find themselves amongst the best in the country.
The Humboldt Broncos are the class of the SJHL after going 2-0 with back-to-back wins over the Notre Dame Hounds to start the season. The Broncos are the top SJHL team ranked within the CJHL Top 20, nestling in at third spot.
The La Ronge Ice Wolves knocked off the Nipawin Hawks in their head-to-head series to start the season. The Ice Wolves slide into the CJHL’s Top 20 in 14th spot.
The Kindersley Klippers, who battered the Battlefords North Stars this past weekend round out the SJHL appearances in the CJHL Top 20 with a 19th-place standing.
The 7-0-0 Fort McMurray Oil Barons (AJHL) hold down first place in the CJHL standings and the Les Cougars des Sherbrooke (LHJAAAQ) round out the top-three with an 8-0-0 record.
